I (like many girls, I'm sure) have come to realise that the wonderful and iconic woman featured in my life whilst growing up - even if they happen to be fictional - have really shaped my style and the way I view fashion. There are more than just a few woman, who have helped and encouraged me to define the way I present myself today.
One of them of course, being the infamous Cruella De Vil.
I re-watched the 101 and 102 Dalmatians at Christmas time, after not seeing them for at least five years, and I was in awe at her styling throughout both films. Every extravagant piece, after another. Each outfit purely consisting of three basic colours; black, white and red. Which just happen to be my three key choices when it comes to clothes! What's even better is, she was a strong and independent woman.
Okay, yes she was also a wicked, ruthless, animal killer. But we all have our bad points!
Lastly, let's not forget her fabulous Panther DeVille. Looking back now, I do believe it is this car, that started my love for vintage cars today.

When I grow up, I want to be just like Ms. De Vil. ....Just without the puppy killing.
