VINTAGE PARASOLS

DISCLAIMER: Pictures belong to their respective owners and not myself.

I long to own a beautiful antique parasol, to hide my pale, delicate skin from the harsh sunlight. Not that we get much of that in Scotland!
It is such a feminine accessory, that is also practical too. I will hopefully get my hands on a paper, Oriental parasol one day. (I will hopefully be in a sunny place, where was is needed too!)
But until then, I have plenty of images to be envious over.

Credit, in order: Lysandra Nelson, Doris Mayday, Miriam Pelletier, Bettie Page, Marilyn Monroe and Dita Von Teese.

  1. I adore parasols too, especially the antique ones which are such pieces of art! I was recently given an oriental 1920s one, but unfortunately its torn in a couple of places :( xx

    1. They are just so sweet, delicate and such a fun accessory. Oh how lovely! What a shame about the holes though :( xx
