As many as you know, I purchased five gorgeous 1940s hats a little while back. Ever since I received them, I knew I had to make a proper blog post, and hold a fun self-portrait session, to show off their beauty. Sadly things kept getting in the way, and I completely forgot. I bought all the hats together from such a lovely lady seller on eBay. She kindly agreed to combine the postage and send them all together.  Which saved me a fortune on US to UK delivery charges. Not only that, but she also included a personalised hand written note in the box. It's simply a joy when someone takes the time to sit down and hand write you a letter. It's something I always adore to receive and is one of my favourite things in life.

I hope I'll be able to find occasions to wear them as often as I can, because they truly do complete an outfit. They range from "casual" to informal, and are easily worn with any hairstyles.
