I'm very eager to own a heavy duty girdle/suspender belt. Now a days the only suspender belts I can find are little flimsy lace ones. Which look lovely. But I'm highly put off paying £10+ for a little bit of lace, that I feel like I can easily break. After looking rather frantically all over online high street shops and getting no where, I was frustrated. So I went onto google and typed in 'vintage lingerie'. When I click on images, I came across these beautiful illustrations.

WHY CAN'T I OWN ANY OF THESE?!

I will be heading down to visit my Grandmother soon at Easter, and I remember there was a 'Granny shop' as my mum labels it. It's basically an old run down shop that sells underwear, stockings and nightwear for elderly ladies. None of it is very flashy, or exactly sexy. But I think that could be my best bet. I bought a lovely white corselette last time I was down for £20 and apart from the cup size being too big for me, I adore it! (But I'm an awkward cup size, anyway!) It's so comfy and feels so well made. 

My fingers are crossed, very tightly.
